Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Juno service operated by HOOKBOOK INC, doing business as Juno Labs (“Juno,” “we,” “us”) at junolabs.io and related apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Juno is a content creation and brand platform. We help teams plan, generate, analyze, organize, and publish social content. Features may change over time as we improve the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Rules for using Juno
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
- Upload, generate, or publish content that infringes others’ rights, or that is illegal, hateful, or deceptive
- Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts you are not authorized to use
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by scraping or overloading it
- Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service except as allowed by law or a written agreement with us
- Use connected social platform APIs (including Meta / Instagram) in ways that violate those platforms’ terms or policies
4. Your content and publishing responsibility
You retain any rights you hold in content you upload to Juno. As between you and Juno, you own generated content to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to third-party rights. AI-generated content may not be unique. You grant Juno a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit your content as needed to provide the Service (including through AI and infrastructure providers we use).
You are solely responsible for content generated with Juno and for anything you choose to publish to social platforms or elsewhere. That includes captions, media, claims, disclosures, and compliance with advertising, copyright, platform, and other applicable rules. Connecting a social account alone does not authorize Juno to publish content. You authorize publishing when you choose to publish a post, schedule a post, or enable an automated publishing feature. Juno publishes according to the settings and permissions you select.
5. Connected accounts
You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. If you connect Instagram or other supported platforms, you authorize Juno to access and use the data and permissions you grant so we can provide connected features (for example syncing posts or publishing when you request it). You can disconnect those accounts in Juno. See our Data Deletion instructions and Privacy Policy for details.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider (currently Stripe). Fees and plan limits are described at purchase or on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions automatically renew for successive billing periods until you cancel. You can cancel anytime through Manage Billing in the Service (which opens the Stripe customer portal) or by contacting us at team@junolabs.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then, and you will not be charged for the next period. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with notice for future billing periods. Stopping use of the Service or deleting data does not by itself cancel a paid subscription — you must cancel billing as described above.
7. Service limitations
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that AI-generated output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose, or that third-party platforms (including Meta) will remain available or compatible. Features that depend on third-party APIs may change or stop if those providers change their products or policies.
8. Account termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account or data deletion as described in our Data Deletion page. To stop future charges on a paid plan, cancel your subscription as described in Subscriptions and billing above. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Juno or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. We may also suspend accounts for non-payment of fees due.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juno and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) if you have not paid us.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Juno against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, your publishing to third-party platforms, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
